Hmmm...I'm pretty happy that 2006 is almost over. Happy New Year to all of you. It seems that many people I know are looking forward to a new year.
I have a splitting headache but had to interrupt feeling sorry for myself so that I could post this.
I bought this sign a few days ago as a Christmas present to myself:
Seriously, how could I pass that up?
That pretty much says it all, doesn't it???
ReplyDeleteWraps up the doctrine you and I were raised with quite succinctly. ;)
Happy New Year!

It's food, it's free. It's wholesome, it's not just good, it's godly.
ReplyDeleteAnd, before you take that first bite, surely you won't mind signing our little contract, right?
It just asks that you toe the line. OK, our line.
C'mon, trust us. We're being subtle. Nuanced. Considerate.
Really, it will all be OK!
But is it vegetarian??? Reminds me of that old Wes Mullins song,
ReplyDeleteOur God is a Vegan God, He reigns...
or something like that.
And now that song is fixed in your head for the rest of the day. tag, you are it!
And Happy New Years/Hogmanay!
Oh my word, that's AWESOME!!! I totally want a sign like that to hang in my kitchen!!! Merry (Belated) Christmas and a Happy New Year to ya Christine!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGrace (er, Pam) - no kidding!
ReplyDeleteSteve - yup...stay in line, will ya?
Peterson - "O Taste and See that the Lord is Good" - appropriate and backatcha.
Nonsequitur - I know! I feel like I hit the jackpot or something with this. Merry and Happy and all to you too. :)
